Fiscal Health + Economic Development Analysis

In 2022, I collaborated with the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners, alongside partners like the University of South Florida, Enterprising Latinas, and Wimauma CDC, on a cost analysis of the Wimauma Community Plan. Our team at Urban3 conducted a comprehensive financial assessment of proposed infrastructure projects aimed at revitalizing Wimauma’s downtown and improving local amenities. Using ArcGIS tools and urban analysis software, we evaluated the fiscal impacts of new commercial spaces, pedestrian pathways, and recreational facilities. This analysis guided the county’s investment priorities, demonstrating how strategic planning can support Wimauma’s long-term prosperity by addressing infrastructure needs and managing growth. To ensure accessibility, we presented the findings in both English and Spanish.
